Appointment of life guard
Applications are invited for selection of life guards on daily wage basis for sea rescue work after the trawling ban period of 2024. The applicant should be a registered fisherman aged between 20 to 45 years and have completed training at the National Institute of Water Sports (NIWS), Goa and should be able to swim in sea in adverse weather conditions. Preference will be given to those who have work experience as Sea Rescue Squad/ Lifeguard, residents of Kannur district and participated in flood rescue operation in 2018.
